A Jewish settlement, official or unofficial, will be established in Lebanese territory by December 31, 2026.

US officials confirm the imminent launch of the first "pilot zone" in Lebanon, where the Lebanese army will assume control from Israeli forces, with further zones being mapped out. Concurrently, Lebanon is now conditioning new negotiation rounds, including the previously scheduled Rome talks, on Israel's full implementation of commitments, specifically withdrawal from these experimental zones. An Israeli party is also promoting Jewish communities in northern Gaza ahead of elections.
